The disaster and war we are going through is the catastrophe that Rumi the poet of the heart talks about, about the power that lies in the moment when there is a fall and the resurrection after it. A necessary condition for spiritual and tribal bones.
There is no whole heart, like a broken heart.

Our festival this year is the gatherings, Gedering of the Sufi tribe. This is a call to everyone who is having a hard time, who is in pain, who has lost faith, to return home. To share this too and renew faith in love, for a common future and the medicine of the people with desert and healing soul music. With dance and upliftment of the body, study and conversation about the heart. Wrapped in the magic of the desert and the final festival.

As always, we will be sanctified and renewed and return our days as before in prayer for peace.

After last year’s unforgettable celebrations, at Kfar Hanokdim taking us to a new level and giving the festival refreshing and defining moments, the Sufi Festival is returning to its new home in Kfar Hanokdim and inviting you for the 12th time, to the annual pilgrimage.

It has been over a decade that the Sufi Festival is growing, developing, breaking through and making waves by producing a rare and unique gathering that has become a phenomena, echoing vastly world wide.

The festival has created over the years an ongoingly expanding community that has been gathering once a year to celebrate the beauty, the music, the wisdom and the inspiration of the Sufi path.

This year we’re returning to Kfar Hanokdim- the biggest, most beautiful and impressive Khan in Israel. A real oasis, situated on the beautiful road between Arad and Masada, welcoming us with the ultimate conditions for the festival and for our people.

On the 16-18 of May, the weekend after the Israeli Independence day, the spring will bring us all to the desert, to gather up on the 11th time for 2 nights and 3 days of music, ceremonies, main events, workshops, friends, and all the people who make the Sufi festival what it is.

We’re truly excited to take off into this new decade, new year, and everything they will bring. It is pure happiness to imagine us all there together, touching moments of beauty, celebrating 11 years of togetherness.
